Who this is for
Most AI agents do their heavy thinking in the cloud. OpenClaw, n8n and similar tools call models like Claude or GPT, then act on the results: sorting email, posting content, updating spreadsheets, watching for events. What they need locally is a reliable computer that stays on. That is exactly what the M5 Ultra is.
It will also run small open models locally through Ollama (think 3B–8B for quick classification or summaries), but it has no dedicated NPU, so if local AI is your main goal, step up to the EVO-X1 Pro.
